Colin Parker Art
Colin Parker is best known for his figurative oil paintings of outback Australia and has been “Artist-in-residence” frequently at Ayers Rock Resort in The Central Desert and “Artist-in-residence” in Kakadu in the Darwin region of Northern Australia many times.
As well as his love of painting outback Australia, Colin has painted in Paris, the south of France, Rome and the North of Italy, his most successful series being Paris in the snow—a world away from the heat, the remoteness and vast aerial distance of the Australian inland.
Colin is a Past President of The Royal Art Society of New South Wales, a Past Chairman of The Royal Society of Arts NSW Chapter, and Past President of The Macquarie Towns Art Society.
His works are found in many Corporate collections in Australia and overseas, in State Government and Commonwealth Government Collections.
